Pokemon Go : a new marketing mobile trend
Nowadays, cross media has become the most interesting way for companies to deliver their messages. By using different media, people are more receptive and they react better and faster. That’s why, the app’s market is in full expension. Pokemon Go has been developped by Niantic and arrived in France the 24th July 2016. It just keeps shattering records. In a matter of few days, more than 30 000 000 downloads are counted. The principle is simple : Pokémon Go is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game. In the game, players use a mobile device’s GPS capability to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, who appear on the screen as if they were in the same real-world location as the player.
Moreover, Pokemon Go is also interesting for companies because it permits to appear on the application as places that allow you to collect items, places called PokeStops. Some companies assert that their turnovers increased by 20% thanks to Pokémon Go.
Artificial Intelligence : The next technological objective
The research turns to this new trend. The market demand increases for the « autonomous » technologies, Turing tests get better than the reasoning of the machine which becomes confused with Man’s spirit. In a world in perpetual evolution, it seems essential to get modernized to survive on the high-tech’s market. That is why this market represents almost 5 billion dollar. We already know Siri and the similar technologies which seduced some consumers but remain little effective. It appears more as gadget than as a real tool.
At least the artificial intelligence will replace the research menu of mobile. Users will just have to ask to their phone and the A.I will simply execut the user’s orders.
